MEET THE CAST
Sarah B. Stevens is thrilled to be returning to The Encore after recent roles including Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods, Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street, and Donna in Mamma Mia! Past Encore roles include Pattie in Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd (Wilde Award Winner for Best Actress in a Musical), Lily in The Secret Garden, Roz in 9 to 5, and Big Alison in Fun Home.
Ash Moran is beyond excited to return to The Encore for Broadway Thrillers! Previous Encore credits include Cinderella in Into The Woods, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, A Tribute to Simon and Garfunkel, and the Classic Rock Tribute concert.
Gabriel Sanchez is a junior Musical Theatre major at the University of Michigan, hailing from Adelanto, California. He is making his debut in The Encore’s Tribute Concert Series! Main Stage: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (u/s William Barfee, Douglas Panch) and Bat Boy: The Musical (Hightower, Gertie, Institute Man).
Oluchi Nwaokorie is a senior Musical Theatre Major with a minor in Musical Theatre Composition at the University of Michigan. She is originally from Jackson, Mississippi. She was most recently seen as Olivia in Twelfth Night, Joanne in RENT, Viveca in The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin, and Dionne in Hair.
Marcus Byers Jr. is a multi-hyphenate artist hailing from New York City in his final year at the University of Michigan and is so excited to be a part of this spooky production! He has performed on stages across the country including Off-Broadway, regional, and community theatres with hopes to bring the gift of storytelling to a Broadway stage sometime soon!
